About the role

We're recruiting a Band 4 Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) for a locum contract role in North West England, paying £16 to £18 per hour (37.5 hours a week), starting 26 Oct until 30 Jun 2027. Apply below or call our health science team for the full details.

Pure Healthcare Group places biomedical scientists and laboratory staff in NHS and private pathology laboratories across the UK, in locum, contract and permanent roles, across haematology, blood transfusion, biochemistry, microbiology, histology and more.

Biomedical scientist roles need HCPC registration and recent UK laboratory experience; associate practitioner and MLA roles need relevant lab experience. We'll take you through compliance, and you'll have weekly pay and 24/7 support while you're on placement.
